A Snapshot of Your Day  

In this role, you will be the key link between our automation systems and digitalization initiatives, ensuring seamless integration from the shop floor to the cloud. You will work on bridging operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), deploying secure and robust industrial applications, and enabling data-driven services for our customers. Your expertise in industrial communication protocols, automation infrastructure, and cloud environments will help us deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance plant performance, improve asset visibility, and enable advanced analytics. 

How You’ll Make an Impact  
  • Act as the technical interface between automation engineers, digitalization teams, and IT/cloud specialists. 
  • Design, configure, and implement secure connectivity between field devices, control systems, and digital platforms. 
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain industrial applications both on-premise and in cloud/hybrid environments. 
  • Optimize data acquisition, processing, and integration from SCADA/DCS/PLC systems to higher-level digital services. 
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, networking, and industrial communication standards. 
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve data pipelines from sensors to enterprise applications. 
  • Support project teams in developing scalable and reliable architectures for condition monitoring, predictive analytics, and performance optimization.  

What You Bring  
  • Strong background in industrial automation systems (PCS 7, SIMATIC, or similar) and OT infrastructure. 
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, PROFINET, MQTT). 
  • Experience in deploying and configuring industrial applications on physical, virtualized, and cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or similar). 
  • Proficiency in industrial networking, cybersecurity, and system integration. 
  • Hands-on experience with edge computing, gateways, and IoT platforms. 
  • Ability to bridge OT and IT requirements, translating operational needs into digital solutions. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary, international teams. 
  • Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Full professional proficiency in English
