Day to day involvement in all the Procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the procurement and business targets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own the work queue to ensure timely issuance of purchase orders (POs).
• Collaborate closely with internal customers to improve service and enable early procurement involvement.
• Handle a supplier portfolio, including negotiations, issue resolution, and payment/invoice management.
• Implement and carry out to global procurement processes, systems, and compliance standards (e.g. P2P, IT tools).
• Support supplier management activities, including qualification, selection, evaluation, and development.
• Maintain procurement records and systems, ensure contract compliance, and supply to procurement planning.

What You Bring

• Strong SAP transactional experience (Materials Management module)
• Outstanding Excel skills
• proven experience in Direct Procurement
• Great teammate with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
• Ability to work in a sophisticated, constantly evolving global interpersonal environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferable
• English - Proficient level

About the Team

Our team of 20+ people is responsible for the Global Procurement of Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Packaging materials. We maintain close relationships with our suppliers, issue RfQs and Purchase Orders, ensure we are meeting our Procurement KPIs and work closely with the Project Procurement Management and Engineering to deliver New Unit Packages to our customers. We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with knowledge of local Brazil market to join our global team.
