A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Siemens Energy Account Executive based in Ireland, you will serve as the strategic link between our Grid Technologies portfolio and key stakeholders, including the Electricity Supply Board (ESB) and essential EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) partners. Your role will focus on driving sales growth and nurturing long-term relationships to support Ireland’s energy transition. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge in high-voltage systems and commercial strategy to ensure Siemens Energy remains the preferred partner for major infrastructure projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and lead comprehensive account plans for ESB and major EPCs, aligning Siemens Energy solutions with their long-term infrastructure goals.
• Build trust as the primary contact across all levels of the customer organisation, from site engineers to senior executives.
• Drive the opportunity pipeline for Grid Technologies (transformers, switchgear, HVDC, and digital grid) from initial project identification through to final contract negotiation.
• Work closely with EPC firms to ensure Siemens Energy products are specified in early-stage project designs for Irish utility and renewable energy tenders.
• Collaborate with regional tendering, engineering, and legal teams to prepare tailored, competitive proposals for complex utility projects.
• Provide continuous feedback on the Irish energy landscape, competitor moves, and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Lead projects that are central to Ireland’s decarbonisation and energy security goals.

Our team is an integral part of the Grid Technologies, tasked with the representation and distribution of Siemens Energy Products throughout the UK and Ireland. We are strategically positioned in Newcastle to effectively manage and support our operations across these markets, as well as teams in Manchester.
