A Snapshot of Your Day 


As the AI Lead, your day begins with strategic alignment meetings across TI’s Independently Managed Businesses (IMBs), where you assess current AI capabilities and identify new opportunities for digital transformation. You collaborate with cross-functional teams—technical experts, business strategists, and product owners—to refine the AI roadmap and ensure it supports TI’s overarching goals.

Midday, you dive into benchmarking sessions, analyzing competitors’ AI implementations and scouting emerging technologies that could enhance Siemens Energy’s portfolio. You combine these insights to build practical suggestions, frequently sharing them with leadership or incorporating them into planning documents.

Afternoons are typically focused on accelerating project delivery. You assess operational workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations. You also lead workshops or training sessions to foster AI literacy across the organization, helping teams understand the value and application of AI in their domains.
Throughout the day, you act as a catalyst for innovation—bridging strategy and execution, and cultivating a culture where AI is not just a tool, but a transformative force.


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Drive AI Strategy & Implementation: Shape and grow TI’s AI capabilities by nurturing initiatives from IMBs to develop a comprehensive AI portfolio.
  • Discover Groundbreaking AI Opportunities: Identify and assess innovative AI technologies, such as Agentic AI, for integrating workflows and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate for Impact: Partner with technical and business teams to prioritize and scale AI use cases for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Build AI Literacy: Promote a culture of experimentation and equip teams with the knowledge to scale AI solutions effectively.
  • Guide Strategic Growth: Provide actionable insights to steer the development of TI’s AI strategy and reinforce leadership in digital transformation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Long term experienced in AI strategy, preferably in industrial or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in optimizing workflows.
  • Experience managing strategic projects in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise.
