A Snapshot of Your Day

At Siemens Gamesa, as a Technical Project Technician, your day typically begins with a collaborative meeting with the Technical Project Specialist to discuss ongoing technical and operational performance, ensuring that we are aligned on project goals. Throughout the day, you´ll engage with site staff and collaborators to address technical issues, provide support for special project activities, all while embracing the opportunity to travel and work with diverse teams in the renewable energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide experience and expertise into technical and operational performance, supported by Technical Project Specialist
  • Support from site Technical Project Specialist as applicable
  • Operate as an on site extension of the Technical Project Specialist on technical issues. This involves engaging with site staff and other collaborators as needed
  • Operate as an extension of the Service Operations Manager on technical issues. This means interacting with on site teams and relevant support functions as necessary
  • Support in the undertaking of special activities as defined in project, in person and/or remotely

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to own the change. We are also looking for…

  • Higher Vocational Training Degree in the following fields: electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields.
  • Minimum of 1-3 year of experience in similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in one or more tools, including Office 365, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel intermediate level.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time to countries in South Europe and Africa such as France, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Egypt, Greece, South Africa.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English (B2+) with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate optimally in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and flexibility to work with multicultural individuals.
