A Snapshot of Your Day
You spend your day as a technical expert supporting wind turbine operations. From remotely analyzing turbine data to guiding technicians via calls or augmented reality, you're the go-to person for troubleshooting and problem-solving. You handle technical queries, assist with parts identification, and collaborate across teams—from commissioning to quality and training. You manage support cases efficiently, ensure timely responses within 48h and case completion/escalation within 5 days to reduce downtime, and contribute to documentation, risk/safety assessments and aftermarket needs. Your role also includes pro-active data analysis to spot failure trends, occasional travel for hands-on work at turbine sites, and maintaining top-notch communication and organizational skills.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SQL, and Power BI; knowledge of data analysis and Python is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (required) and Portuguese is an added advantage.
- Team & Communication: Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Personal Attributes: Proactive, organized, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR
- Associate Engineering degree with at least 5 years hands on work experience in wind turbine trouble-shooting or major component changeouts OR
- Diploma with at least 10 years hands on experience in wind turbine trouble shooting or major component changeouts.
