Supporting the local management to identify and manage business risks optimally, by coordinating Risk & Internal Control (RIC) measures and assessments on a ARE level.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Within the TI SES controlling team you are participating in the ramp up of Siemens Energy’s Electrolyzer business for green hydrogen. You are contributing to the financial transparency and ensure that the organization is following the vital regulatory requirements.
- Analyze Control Objectives and their applicability in the involved organizational units: identification of process owners, verification of documentation requirements, monitoring of controls implementation.
- Provide training and support to process owners, RIC Representatives in the Region/Business and Independent Assessors to manage the Internal controls process: coordinate workshops, perform quality checks etc.
- Supervise and validate deficiencies and remediation, support entities to close the remediation activities as soon as possible.
- Perform quality and validation checks for ARE 476Q, 4AA0
- Support RIC best practice sharing and projects to increase efficiency in the country / hub / globally
- Timely alignment with SE A IC (tool access, process, responsibilities, etc.)
- Account scoping – Check existing balance sheet items vs. control objectives with SE A IC
- Comparison of control objectives with existing direct and self-assessments - completeness check with SE A IC
- Preparation of an overall test-plan for ARE 476Q and 4AA0 – assignment of IMB-specific direct assessments to assessors (independent assessor nomination)
- Assignment of test cases in the RIC tool to the nominated assessors
- Fraud assessment
How you will make an impact
- Ensure timely and correct internal control system for several operative entities including the mastering of a GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tool, this includes applicability analyses, fraud workshop, setting up test plans, support on remediation of deficiencies as example.
- Deliver projects such as control improvement and automation initiatives and support processes or business model changes.
- Drive process and control changes by working with IMPs process owners to gain efficiencies and to improve the control environment.
- Ensure appropriate level of communication and training is maintained on Internal Control matters to support the business and ensure appropriate ownership and accountabilities.
- Perform quality and validation checks for ARE 476Q, 4AA0
- Timely alignment with SE A IC (tool access, process, tasks, etc.)
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business or related field required 3-5 years previous Finance, Accounting, Audit or related experience
- Fluent English mandatory, in addition German preferred
- Experience in administrative and/or financial processes (min 3 years)
- Knowledge about the internal processes and organizational unit(s)
- Internal controls expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management, analytical, organizational and people skills
- Self-motivated with ability to stay on deadlines with a positive, energetic, and can-do attitude.
