A Snapshot of Your Day

You will start your day reviewing the STA-RMS Deviation Dashboard to investigate any high, medium or low priority RDS notifications that need to be actioned. You will investigate the alerts, discuss them with your RDS and OSD (24/7 helpdesk) teammates and create Salesforce cases if the alerts are deemed to be genuine.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform remote monitoring and reporting for assigned connected sites under Daily Monitoring, reporting to local RDC Manager.
• You will develop Remote Diagnostic Monitoring activity to ensure that risk to both Siemens Energy and customer organisations from equipment degradation or downtime is minimised/mitigated by timely preventive action.
• Perform customer reporting and ticketing activity ensuring it is timely, concise and technically accurate whilst delivering maximum commercial leverage.
• Support onboarding of new units in the RDS systems.
• You will ensure RDS Data Integrity (including data from contributory systems), making sure data is available when required, and it´s reliable and accurate.
• You will find opportunities for development and will support the overall RDS Research & Development engineering priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field (such as Instrumentation & Controls or Mechanical Engineering).
• Experience in remote diagnostic and monitoring is valued.
• Experience of high value equipment within an aerospace, manufacturing, marine or energy industry is valued.
• Must be customer focused and be able to demonstrate leadership, troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills / decision making in a high-pressure environment.
• Appreciation of Siemens Energy´s international customer base, their respective cultural diversity and an ability to communicate in more than one language would be a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed, demonstrating the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, along with commercial appreciation.
• Initiative and be a flexible self-starter, working with minimal direction.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
