A Snapshot of Your Day
Join a role where your expertise in quality management propels the success of modernization and upgrades (M&U) projects for gas turbines worldwide. As a Quality Manager in Projects, you'll ensure that every project meets regulatory and customer quality standards, collaborating closely with a team of accomplished professionals. Your day will be filled with dynamic challenges, from performing product risk analyses to leading quality team members and coordinating third-party inspections. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will be key in delivering excellence and innovation in energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will lead the Machinery Directive & CE Certification process, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Conduct product risk analyses, including Substantial Modification and Risk analyses according to MD.
- Review customer contracts to ensure quality deliveries are communicated effectively within projects.
- Communicate with customers on quality topics, building positive relationships and trust
- Create, update, and release project quality documentation, including Project Quality Plans and Quality Control Plans.
What You Bring
- You are a proactive team player who can lead or follow as needed, with a structured and collaborative approach.
- Strong communication skills and resourcefulness to overcome challenges.
- Preference for working independently, without needing a larger team of quality professionals.
- International business experience is preferred, along with a degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- You have 5+ years work experience.
About the Team
Our modernization and upgrades (M&U) project management team is a dynamic group of 12 professionals, including 10 project managers and 2 quality managers.We complete M&U projects across our global fleet of gas turbines, ranging from auxiliary system upgrades to full core replacements. Our team is dedicated to supporting the QA/QC requirements of the M&U project portfolio, ensuring excellence in every project.
