A Snapshot of Your Day
Productivity & Improvement Projects manages the productivity efforts, runs the product cost reduction process and is a driver for complex internal improvement projects enabling long-term change. To ensure also in the future an ambitious contribution for Gas Services Central, we are looking for a Project Manager of Complex Internal Projects in Budapest. You become part of our Global Business Functions Team and gain strategic perspectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Your overall mission is to secure significant cost reductions and process improvements for a multitude of activities performed by the organization.
- Drive and support GS Central in a cost-competitive business by delivering on ambitious cost reduction targets.
- Develop project / program plan on very complex projects or programs.
- Guide strategic projects or programs.
- Lead project activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource management activities) for very complex projects.
- Develop continuous improvement plan and drive innovations.
- This is an operative, hands-on role where you will be personally contributing and leading projects and driving cross-department / cross-regional projects through implementation.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of combined experience in the project management, business improvement, and power generation is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or similar field required.
- You must have excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills. Project management capabilities are a must. Experience in cost reduction and productivity programs is preferred.
- PMI or/and Lean Expert certification is preferred.
- Ability to resolve complex internal cost reduction challenges and drive tangible improvements on a global basis across the entire Gas Services Central organization.
- Data analysis knowledge with one or more of these: SQL, Alteryx, tableau, etc. is preferred.
- Self-starter who is focused and drives for completion. Task-oriented, leadership & personally involved in all phases of a project.
- Must be able to drive harmonized processes with the fortitude and strength of convincing stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of the organization. Executive presentation experience.
