As a Procurement Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will engage with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative engineering projects that drive sustainable energy solutions. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and suppliers, ensuring the timely procurement of essential materials while fostering strong relationships that enhance our mission to create a more connected and efficient energy future. How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for favorable terms.
  • Execute purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and fulfill material requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing issues as needed.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly for engineering projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and industry best practices.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supplier relationship management.
