Siemens Energy has a fantastic opportunity for a Portfolio Sales Professional to join our Gas Services team based at our North Ryde office. Reporting to the Portfolio Sales Manager, this role will manage the sales function of Control and Digitalisation Solutions for the power generation market. As the successful applicant, you will be involved in selling upgrades, expansions, solutions and services for Control and Digitalisation systems to installed base customers in the power generation market.

How You’ll Make an Impact

This is a highly technical role. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating highly technical markets and needs of potential and existing customers
• Preparing customer contacts and building/maintaining a customer focused network
• Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for products, solutions and services
• Conceptual design of customer solutions for potential projects
• Preparation and negotiation of project proposals, including design, bills of materials, labour estimates and pricing build-up
• Sound market price knowledge and investigative skills
• Completing sales and revenue related key planning and reporting

What You Bring

The successful applicant will have gained extensive technical engineering experience within the power generation and / or oil & gas industries

• Demonstrated experience in controls and mechatronic systems is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of the products, solutions and services
• A proven sales track record in this highly technical space is a must
• strong communication skills and ability to build sound working relationships
• You must also have a willingness to travel frequently within Australia

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
