A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine stepping into a dynamic role where you join an international project team, crafting innovative solutions for control systems in combined-cycle power stations, wind farms, and power-to-X projects. Your day is filled with collaboration, working alongside controls experts to leverage your OT network expertise. You dive into system analysis, creating conceptual and detailed designs to ensure secure systems for our customers. Your on-site presence is crucial during implementation, and once the project wraps up, you ensure all documentation is up-to-date. You also support our bid team, offering cutting-edge solutions that exceed customer expectations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Adapt and develop customer-specific solutions for industrial networks in diverse projects.
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network and security solutions, including switches, routers, and firewalls, following customer specifications.
- Conduct security testing, fix issues, and document solutions meticulously.
- Support sales, bid management, commissioning teams, and after-sales efforts.
- Provide training for internal staff and external customers, fostering growth and development.
What You Bring
- A university degree in communications engineering, network communications, or OT systems.
- Several years of experience in network design and OT security, ideally with large automation and control systems like Omnivise T3000.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, switching, routing, VPN, and OT-security concepts, with certifications like CCNA/CCNP.
- Expertise in configuring hardware components related to switching, routing, and firewalls (Cisco, Ruggedcom, Scalance).
- Proficient English language skills; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for business, totaling less than 30% of the year.
