A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Mining Business Development Manager at Siemens Energy, your day will be focused on driving growth and market expansion across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) hub. You will identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and promote tailored energy solutions for the mining sector. By fostering relationships with key stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in supporting sustainable and innovative energy solutions while contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of enhancing operational excellence in the industry.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Identify and manage strategic business opportunities in the mining sector across the MEA region.
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies focused on sustainability and efficiency.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their evolving energy needs are met.
- Stay informed on market trends and provide strategic insights to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.
- Represent Siemens Energy at industry events to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant technical discipline preferred.
- 7-10 years of business development or sales experience in the mining sector or related industries.
- Proven track record in developing growth strategies in the Middle East and Africa.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
- Knowledge of energy solutions, including renewable energy and digitalization technologies.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Africa region.
