How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will provide hands-on support for existing and new materials, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with teams to communicate and implement engineering requirements effectively.
• Analyze test data related to material and process quality, preparing detailed engineering reports.
• Serve as a technical interface with customers, addressing inquiries regarding material performance.
• Act as an onsite technical resource for our back-office development team, facilitating seamless operations.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Materials Engineering or a strong focus on materials engineering.
• 2 or more years of experience in an industrial environment, with opportunities for those with more experience.
• Strong engineering skills and a curiosity about materials used in power generation equipment.
• An aptitude for developing expertise in Materials Engineering Support within a manufacturing context. Knowledge or experience in rotating electric machinery (electric generator or motors).
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time and work flexible hours as needed.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
