Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: •Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards •Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources •Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions
How You Will Make an Impact
- CNC- Supervisor would be responsible for planning and scheduling for CNC-Machines
- Complete machine and programing activity including proving out new components.
- Responsible for meeting productivity and machine utilization targets.
- All SAP transactions are related to machine shops.
- Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Work in close co-ordination with demand management to meet production targets as per schedule
- To ensure compliance for QMS – ISO 9000, 14001, 18000
- Responsible for meeting all quality requirements.
- To ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
- Close co-ordination with manufacturing services to minimize the break-down time
- Carry out inspection and measurement of the component as per specification
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in the machine shop for Diploma Engineer
- Knowledge of ERP (SAP or similar) – all applicable transactions and reports related to manufacturing (PP module
- Knowledge & hands on use of Measuring Instruments & Gauges
- Knowledge of CNC and Conventional machining processes, Basic Assembly Process
- CNC Programming
- Master CAM
- CNC Cutting Tools and Tool Prester
- CMM Inspection
- Know-how of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Problem Solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Know-how of Workshop Safety aspects and 6S
- Must possess and demonstrate strong supervisory skills.
- Know-how of lean manufacturing & six sigma tools.
