A Snapshot of Your Day
Would you like to use your legal skills in supporting a business that is making a difference in our world today? During your internship you will obtain practical legal experience and improve your commercial awareness, gaining a broader appreciation and understanding of business requirements, how it functions, considering not only legal but commercial best interests.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• Supporting the Europe General Counsel and the Legal and Compliance team across Europe with corporate, finance and commercial law topics.
• Lawyers are based across Europe, and you would be providing legal research on matters within these countries, such as research on (new) regulations, corporate governance standards and best practices across different jurisdictions, as well as analyzing key legal and contractual risks related to the Siemens Energy businesses operating across Europe
• Working with the Holding and Finance Companies by drafting corporate documentation, i.e. board resolutions and powers of attorney, researching corporate matters and assisting in legal topics on M&A-transactions
- Assisting in drafting and issuing standard legal documentation
• Proof-reading and cross-checking documentation
• Assisting on preparing training materials and providing training sessions for business colleagues on legal and contractual principles
• Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you bring
• You are in the third and final year of your WO Bachelor in Law, or at the beginning of your WO Master in Law (Rechtsgeleerdheid).
• Have an interest in corporate and finance law and commercial contracting.
• Have good digital literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft office applications.
• You are proactive.
• You are analytical and have a keen eye for detail.
• You feel comfortable communicating with colleagues (engineers, finance, sales, senior management) within a business environment, and across the globe.
• Have legal curiosity, innovation, initiative, and strong collaboration skills.
• Have excellent spoken and written Dutch and English. Additional languages are an asset (especially French).
About the Team
The Hub Europe in-house Legal and Compliance team consists of approximately 40 lawyers, contract managers and compliance officers. We are committed to providing the highest ethical and quality standards for the legal advice provided by the Legal & Compliance team, and we are looking to recruit a full-time legal intern to join us, with a potential proposition to become a working student for 2 days a week after the internship.
