A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Lead Data & AI Strategist of our Global Service Operations (GSO) Team within the GS Central Execution Unit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the data and AI strategy for the organization. You will apply your expertise to develop together with the GSO community of the Data Citizen Developers innovative solutions that enhance business processes, improve decision-making, and drive digital transformation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining data strategies, and help the GSO departments implementing AI-driven solutions to achieve business objectives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive data, deployment of self-service automation tools (such as Alteryx, Snowflake and Tableau / Power BI) and AI strategy aligned with Central GSO business goals.
• Innovation: Find opportunities for leveraging data and AI to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
• Collaboration: Support, coach, and grow the GSO community of citizen developers using Alteryx, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI and AI applications fostering innovation and procedures. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, and external partners, to implement data and AI initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Support the GSO Functions to identify areas for improvement through data-driven insights and AI technologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate the value and impact of data and AI initiatives to customers at all levels of the organization.

What You Bring

• Education: University degree or equivalent experience in data science, AI, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing data and AI strategies in a corporate environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong networks and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data management, AI technologies, and relevant tools and platforms.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating change.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
