A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance activities at customer sites, following the guidelines of the Long Term Service Agreement. This role involves supporting smooth service operations, maintaining good relationships with customers, and helping ensure reliable system performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for the SPPA-T3000 DCS Control System at PCP Petronas Pengerang.
  • Arrange resource, material, and equipment requirements for service execution.
  • Provide on-call and standby support for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including findings, root cause, and resolutions.
  • Supervise service engineers and subcontractors, and support customers with technical assistance onsite and remotely.
  • Coordinate service operations, manage service desk activities, and follow up with hotline or R&D teams in Malaysia and Germany.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, IT Networking, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience with SPPA-T3000 DCS systems in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant environments.
  • Technical expertise in control and instrumentation, with experience in service, installation, or commissioning.
  • Familiar with computer networking, hardware, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Demonstrates basic leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently under pressure and willing to be based in Pengerang, Johor.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
