A Snapshot of Your Day
The Human Resources Business Partner position will partner directly with leadership teams for an assigned area of responsibility within the Transformation of Industries business at Siemens Energy based in Houston, TX. This position will deliver consultative HR services aligned to the business strategy for a population of approximately 400-600 employees. This position will have the ability to understand the business, the strategy and the mission to deliver integrated Human Resources consultation services and programs across the business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- As a trusted partner to and a member of the assigned product line leadership team, you will bring an independent viewpoint and HR expertise to business issues.
- Proactively drive HR people agenda within organization as aligned with business goals.
- Cultivate leadership development at all levels through coaching with managers and employees.
- Advise with partnered organization on strategies and communications designed to build an environment that drives individual and team success.
- Provide counsel to managers and employees consistent with Siemens Energy policies.
- Lead and/or participate in HR project teams to drive standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Organizational Development.
- SHRM or HRCI Certification desired.
- 5+ years of successful experience in human resources consultation with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above, including supporting and collaborating with teams in a manufacturing environment and a track record of successfully influencing leadership and partnerships with stakeholders. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Proven track record to prioritize, research, analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions rapidly and with positive outcomes that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
- 25% travel
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
