A Snapshot of Your Day
As Head of Product Development - Traction & Power Transmission you will lead a global team in a research and development environment. You will be responsible for business objectives such as budget, quality, performance and schedule requirements. You will coordinate activities beginning from support requests on a daily base up to the planning of multi-year product development projects. With your excellent leadership skills, you will develop your team members to work as a high-performance team.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead a global team in a research and development environment
- Overall coordination of product development projects including planning and reporting
- Implement best practices, process improvements and quality standards to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with global sites to standardize processes and share best practices
- Promote the standardization and modularization program
- Drive key innovation projects and look for new fields of innovation
- Make product safety and zero-harm culture your top priority
What You Bring
- Education in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, material science or in a comparable area
- Several years of experience in the field of distribution transformers or traction transformers
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in a global environment
- Proven track record of successful leadership role, preferably within a global organization
- Professional experience in international project management preferable
- Excellent skills in English and preferrable German, knowledge of other foreign language will be beneficial
- Ability to think strategically, drive innovation, and execute plans effectively
- Ability to travel as needed

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 64.734,18 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
