A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as the Head of Distributed - Engineering Support Gas Turbine, where you will play a pivotal role in addressing the technical challenges faced by our UK customer base. You will lead the Engineering Support strategy, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maximised through effective solutions. Collaborating closely with the Heads of Sales, On-Shore, Off-Shore, and Operations, you will define and manage programs that tackle complex technical issues. Your leadership will guide a multi-skilled shared service team, enhancing our “in service” customer relationships and driving new product introductions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will manage a team of up to 7 technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing the support strategy for UK&IE customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- You will create integrated support solutions across multiple product lines, enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- You will provide engineering support for the service of non-Siemens (3rd Party) products, broadening our service capabilities.
- You will communicate complex technical issues with clarity and precision, both internally and externally, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
What You Bring
- You have proven people management skills and a strong understanding of commercial and financial principles.
- You possess excellent planning, delivery, and technical problem-solving abilities.
- International work experience is beneficial, showcasing your cultural awareness.
- You have in-depth product knowledge and a solid understanding of engineering principles.
- You are familiar with operations and delivery management, and can navigate a broad range of business functions to deliver effective solutions.
- You are willing to travel frequently to our Aberdeen office.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
