A Snapshot of Your Day

To ensure a smooth continuation and adaptation of the Global Mobility Management (GMM) services throughout Siemens Energy. Shaping as well as managing GMM policy landscape with an E2E view, will be another important part of your role. You will support the GM Policy Manager to create the future development of our Global Mobility Management portfolio and develop the GMM policy landscape further to support the business and HR strategy. Finally, you will contribute to culture change in Siemens Energy with regards to GMM.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Support in reviewing Global Mobility policy landscape with focus on the end-to-end Global Mobility processes, identifying as well as mitigating risk as necessary, driving and designing business-focused solutions for the Global Mobility function with a focus on process harmonization and cost efficiency.
  • Working closely with the Global Mobility Policy Manager in the design of a successful and business-relevantstrategy focused on the mobilization of cross-border assignees focussing on internal governance, business, and talent development.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal guidelines as well as driving collaboration with the corporate tax department, finance, procurement as well as HR providers and other collaborators.
  • Establishing as well as maintaining global mobility policy and documentation, monitoring their consistent application as well as providing governance-related assessments for HR global mobility management partners.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of global mobility policies and process, as well as recommending modifications.
  • Supporting with Cost Estimate improvements, implementation and on-going updates.
  • What You Bring:
  • University degree in business, immigration/labor law, human resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A proven experience in Global Mobility, preferably in-house, with energy and/or EPC companies.
  • Strong in-depth knowledge of Global Mobility (managing international assignments) including regulations in taxation, social security, immigration, policy development, compensation practice, benefit management and IT processes.
  • Ability to evaluate complex mobility technical information to identify core issues and present practical understandable advice to move stakeholders.
  • Up to date regarding global mobility trends as well as a thorough understanding of company and country perspectives.
  • Project management experience, strong planning and organisational ability, as well as excellent skills in relation to personal interaction, coordination, and negotiation.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • High level of intercultural sensitivity, experience with living and working in different regions / with different cultures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proven proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
