关于职务
A Snapshot of Your Day
This role provides on-site leadership and technical expertise for large-scale generator installations within our Gas Services operations across Asia Pacific. The position supports the full site lifecycle from team coordination and quality assurance to EHS compliance — and would suit a mechanical engineering professional with strong site management experience and a collaborative approach to independent, on-site leadership in a power plant environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
40% On-Site Project & Team Supervision
- Guides and coordinates the on-site installation team, aligning work distribution, schedules, and resources with project management to keep milestones on track.
- Serves as the primary on-site contact for customers and back-office teams, while overseeing subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with project standards and agreements.
40% Technical Execution & Quality Management
- Oversees and performs installation, maintenance, and repair of large generators (e.g., SGEN5 series), ensuring work meets technical specifications and Siemens Energy quality standards.
- Troubleshoots complex mechanical and electrical issues during installation, commissioning, and testing, and prepares final assembly reports and technical documentation upon completion.
20% EHS & Site Administration
- Develops and implements site-specific EHS plans, including risk assessments and method statements, while leading daily safety briefings to support full regulatory compliance.
- Maintains accurate site documentation (progress reports, incident reports, work permits, first-aid logs) and coordinates logistics for site resources, including timely return of rental tools and equipment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent, along with strong hands-on experience supervising the installation, maintenance, or commissioning of large generators at power plants.
- Comfortable working independently on international project sites for extended periods, with good English skills for both speaking and writing.
- Strong leadership and project management skills — able to manage workflows, build good relationships with customers, and influence others positively.
- Good technical knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in commissioning and preventive maintenance.
- Natural problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues and working with test equipment.
- Careful and detail-oriented when it comes to quality and safety, with experience in quality assurance, quality control, and investigations.
