A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as an FPGA Developer, where you will design and implement cutting-edge FPGA firmware for our converter control platform, playing a vital role in supporting the energy transition. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members throughout the entire firmware development lifecycle: from clarifying requirements and implementing features to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Working in agile teams, you’ll contribute to innovative projects that ensure our solutions are robust, secure, and high-performing, making a real impact in the energy sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design, implement, simulate, and verify digital circuits for high-performance control systems in close collaboration with the firmware development team.
- Enhance and optimize existing functionalities and implement new features.
- Perform integration and developer-level testing on target hardware, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
- Analyze root causes of errors in a lab environment and work with test teams to resolve critical firmware issues.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Solid knowledge of VHDL and functional verification using ModelSim/QuestaSim
- Experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., AMD-Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, Intel Quartus)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., VUnit, cocotb) is a plus
- Experience with tools for source code management (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent English communication
