A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a passionate technical expert in the field of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems and/or Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems (FACTS) who stands out for their technical expertise and commitment.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for international projects in the areas of scheduling, installation concepts and subcontractor evaluation. You will collaborate with engineering and project management to ensure that upcoming projects are optimally set up and meet the requirements of the execution team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Evaluation of non-conformance reports and costs as well as their root cause analysis
• Promotion of lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
• Training of new employees to share knowledge and experience and strengthen the team
• Mentoring new employees to develop their potential and expand their expertise
• Actively participating in project management to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Participating in research and development projects to develop innovative solutions and technologies
• Occasional on-site work is possible

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
• Very good technical understanding in the energy sector, ideally with proven project experience in the field of transmission, large-scale switchgear/high-voltage systems
• Professional experience in construction site management incl. initial management experience
• Fluent written and spoken English, German is desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Self-organisation and the ability to organise work according to one's own strengths
