关于职务
A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a hands-on EHS Specialist to join our Switchgear EQS team. You work closely with the EHS Manager to advance Environment, Health & Safety performance across Switchgear factories — with a strong focus on data quality, EHS reporting, and digital tools. You are the engine behind our numbers and our learning.
You lead implementation of HOP (Human & Organizational Performance) principles at factory level, bringing a learning-focused approach to incidents, operations, and daily EHS interactions.
You lead Hand & Finger Protection program across the factories, translating global strategy into site-level actions that make a real difference for workers on the shop floor.
You are part of an open, improvement-driven EQS community that values transparency, cross-site learning, and direct engagement with the people who do the work.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own EHS data management across Switchgear sites — ensuring data quality, consistency, and timely entry in Enablon; Use Power BI dashboards to turn raw EHS data into actionable insights for leaders and site teams.
- Support OKR tracking and EHS reporting cycles — consolidating inputs from factories, validating results, and producing clear, reliable reporting packages for the GT leadership.
- Co-lead implementation of the Hand & Finger Protection program at factory level, with Americas as primary scope — designing the strategy, translating it into concrete, locally adapted actions and verifying effectiveness through shop floor presence and worker engagement.
- Drive HOP implementation at factory level — roadmap implementation, coaching supervisors and EHS professionals on HOP concepts, and helping translate principles into everyday operational conversations.
- Support site teams in translating global EHS requirements into practical, shop-floor-ready actions — bridging the gap between standards and what workers actually need to do to stay safe.
- Actively participate in the global EQS community — contributing to lessons learned exchanges, EHS campaigns, and cross-site collaboration initiatives, with a travel requirement of approximately 25–40% primarily within the Americas (mainly US and Mexico) and additionally Berlin.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, environmental science, occupational health & safety, or a related technical field. A minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing EHS data — maintaining records in EHS management systems (Enablon or equivalent), building reports and dashboards (Power BI preferred), and translating data into clear insights for non-specialist audiences.
- Familiarity with HOP (Human & Organizational Performance) principles and a genuine interest in applying them in practice. Prior experience with HOP tools (learning teams, pre-accident investigations, operational learning conversations) is a strong advantage.
- Experience with EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), incident investigation, and EHS compliance in manufacturing settings. Knowledge of high-risk activities such as LOTO/Energy Isolation, Machine Guarding, and Working at Height is valued.
- Strong written and spoken English (required). Spanish is a meaningful advantage given the scope of the role. Openness to intercultural work and willingness to travel approximately 25–40% within the Americas (primarily United States and Mexico).
- Results-oriented and self-driven. You take initiative, follow through on commitments, work well across cultures and time zones, and bring both analytical rigor and people skills to your work.
