A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine joining a team where your expertise drives the future of Small Gas Turbine sales and shapes the tools that power our global business. You’ll enhance our new unit sales offerings by optimizing processes and toolkits, enabling seamless cost and configuration management for bids worldwide. Each day, you’ll identify and lead improvement projects, collaborating with Bid Management, Engineering, R&D, and factories to boost cost estimation accuracy and integrate safety and cost-out measures. Your work will directly impact efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, all while you grow in a supportive, international environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the development and improvement of bid management and configuration tools, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
- Coordinate interfaces between configuration tools and bid management systems, supporting global sales teams.
- Create and deliver user training materials, manage tool access, and develop analytics for sales opportunities and quotations.
- Build and maintain product models, advise on changes with project management and engineering, and maintain product baselines with cost reports.
- Present solution requirements to management, develop product cost analysis tools, and uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
What You Bring
- A degree in engineering (or equivalent), ideally with Chartered status or working towards it, and experience in configuring tools like SAP, PLM, Salesforce, Dashboards, and Snowflake.
- Programming skills in VBA and SQL, with a background in process improvement and managing complex transformation projects.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and step in to lead project teams when needed.
- Fluent English communication skills, a collaborative and resilient approach, and experience or education related to rotating machinery is a plus.
- Willingness to start in Lincoln, UK.
