A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
As an Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for efficiently implementing operational purchasing processes. You will purchase direct material to ensure that operational needs are met (considering price, quality, on-time delivery) as well as continuity of supply. You will be a member of a multi-function procurement team. You will have a huge impact on the company business, you’re in the driver seat for demand ordering and key point of contact for the supplier.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Process purchase requests by creating and releasing purchase orders to suppliers
- Lead negotiation with defined external supplier in terms of price, delivery and capacity
- Point of escalation for supplier related topics
- Close cooperation with commodity procurement and the business
- Create forecast towards supplier
- Manage that product are delivered on time and in proper quality
- Communicate with suppliers concerning order-related items, such as delivery dates, and advance risks to relevant collaborators
- Support supplier related projects
- Improve supplier processes and purchase conditions
WHAT YOU BRING
- Successfully completed university studies, preferred degree in economy, management or technical
- Fluent in Hungarian written and spoken is a must
- Supplier negotiation and tendering expertise
ood English skills (negotiation level)
- German skills is a big plus
- Good experience with sap and ms office

ABOUT THE TEAM
Your will be a member of the Budapest procurement Team who are responsible for sourcing and ordering of raw material for the Budapest production site. The Team is part of the Gas Service Central procurement community.
