How to contribute to our vision
As a Bobinador I, you will be an integral part of our transformer manufacturing team, responsible for operating winding machines to produce high-quality coils. This is an entry-level position focused on executing fundamental production tasks under direct supervision. You will follow standardized procedures to ensure that all components meet precise technical specifications and quality standards, contributing directly to the reliability of our final products. Your primary duties will involve setting up and operating winding equipment, carefully handling raw materials such as copper or aluminum conductors and insulation paper, and monitoring the winding process. You will perform basic quality checks using measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with engineering drawings. Adherence to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace are essential components of this role. Working within the Winding department, you will collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in industrial manufacturing and electromechanical assembly. What You Need To Make a Difference
- 50% Machine Operation and Winding
- Set up and operate horizontal and vertical winding machines according to production orders and technical specifications.
- Load conductors and insulation materials onto the machines, ensuring correct alignment and tension.
- Monitor machine operation during the winding process to ensure coils are produced accurately and without defects.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting under supervision.
- 30% Quality Control and Inspection
- Conduct in-process visual inspections on wound coils to identify any imperfections or deviations.
- Use basic measurement instruments like calipers and measuring tapes to verify coil dimensions against technical drawings.
- Document production and quality data accurately in logs or designated systems.
- Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to the team leader or supervisor immediately.
- 20% Material Handling and Workplace Safety
- Transport raw materials and finished coils to and from the workstation in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles and company safety standards.
- Adhere to all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures during all tasks.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- Technical/Vocational course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related industrial field is considered a plus.
