A snapshot of your day
As a Supplier Quality Engineer - CBV Commodity, you will drive supplier qualification and development to ensure sustainable quality improvements. You will analyze supplier performance, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with suppliers. Your responsibilities will include supplier audits, quality planning in SAP, and reviewing supplier documentation. Additionally, you will support product development, manage quality notifications, and work closely with a global team.
How you'll make an impact
- Supplier qualification and development for sustainable quality improvements in the supply base.
- Analyzing supplier performance and planning/executing supplier audits.
- Conducting root cause analysis of defects and initiating corrective/preventive measures with suppliers.
- Monitoring corrective and preventive actions and reviewing suppliers’ quality documentation.
- Supporting early supplier involvement in the product development process with the global SQD team.
- Executing quality planning and tasks in SAP, including inspections and maintenance of material masters and quality info records.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, or purchasing.
- Several years of experience in supplier qualification.
- Profound knowledge of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP Materials Management and Quality Management.
- Business fluent in Hungarian and English; German is a plus, with a willingness to travel 20% of the time.
