Omnivise Application Platform is:

An integration platform for customer-facing application. It enables Siemens Energy to integrate all digital and analytics production under the same umbrella. Doing so we not only standardize and harmonize the diverse technical and architectural landscape at Siemens Energy but also ensure a common user experience across all our digital products.

The scope of the project includes:

• Design, architecture, and development of features for the Platform
• Set standards, processes and guidelines to deploy solutions and use cases in the platform.
• Provide common application services, add-ons, libraries, and components. e.g., real time data, sensor data, authentication, authorization and etc.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a frontend developer for our application platform, you will:

• driving and consulting partner teams during the adoption of / migration to our platform 
• exploring technical solutions for feature requests raised by use cases / partner teams
• helping platform owner to define additional features for the platform based on feature requests from different use cases, developer feedback and strategic vision
• developing shared solutions targeting specific SPA frameworks
• Document technical features in specification and guides
• Create on-boarding material, Demos and moderate workshops

What You Bring 

• Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar with a minimum 8 years of experience in the field of Software Development and Architecture.
• consultant / communication / explanation skills, preferrable for platform offered solutions
• ability to understand, document and present technical problems and possible solutions to partner teams and stakeholders
• Deliver rapidly in a reliable manner with the highest quality standards
• Curious, passionate about problem solving, building and self-improving
• Experience in Agile development 
• Fluent English Skills
• Experience working in and with international teams and stakeholders with different cultures 

Technical Skills

• experience in JavaScript, (beneficial TypeScript, DevOps experience)
• experience with modern single-page applications (SPA) frameworks (React, Ember or Angular)
• experience in developing software architecture
• experience writing software specifications, guides and tutorials is a plus

Our mission is to grow the digital software business and develop solutions and products for our internal and external customers. This covers from edge data acquisition, data lake and processing up to development of digital twins and apps around customer assets.

These solutions include Edge Computing and applications, On-site sensor technology integration, Cloud-based platforms and cloud-based software solutions and applications. The solutions, applications, and platforms we provide allow data acquired to be used to improve the operation and maintenance of power plants and industrial facilities of all sizes this includes the development of digital twins, analytics platforms and agents, artificial intelligent and machine learning applications and algorithms.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Within our Gas Services Organization we work on customized solutions to support our Customer’s to Decarbonize their Plants. Focus areas are Heat Decarbonization and Utilization of Waste Heat to increase the Plant efficiency and safe CO2 emissions.
