A Snapshot of Your Day

The duty of the QMiP is to act and operatively support the Project Manager/ Director as expert and partner by planning, supervision, ensuring and reporting of appropriate activities regarding failure prevention, effective proceedings (pro-active & re-active) and continuous improvement over the entire life cycle of the project.:

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Proactive Risk Management (e.g., FMEA, Risk Analysis)
  • Lessons Learned
  • Quality-Plan (e.g.: definition of methods/tools related to Quality and Product Safety)
  • Milestone- / Q-Gate Meetings
  • Nonconformity Process and CAPA Process
  • Test Plans for the Type Test Plan, Productions Test plan, Incoming Inspection, etc

 What You Bring 

  • Professional experience and knowledge of project management and quality management in Substation business
  • Engineering education (B.Sc/ M.Sc Engineering degree or equivalent)
  • 3 years professional experience in quality assurance of medium or large size multi-disciplinary Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Good knowledge of the product and the production technologies and has a high ability to analyze and work systematically
  • Professional experience in QM-Management Systems (e.g., DIN EN ISO 9001) Internal Auditor certified is a plus point.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
