A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a PLM Teamcenter Solution Architect at Siemens Energy, your day will be dynamic and engaging! You will start by collaborating with multi-functional teams to understand their requirements and challenges. You will then craft and implement PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Your day will involve a mix of strategic planning, hands-on configuration, and solving to ensure efficient performance of the PLM system. Regularly, you will conduct business requirements gathering sessions where you will demonstrate Teamcenter capabilities, ensuring that the Business is demonstrating Teamcenter to meet Business needs. By the end of the day, you will have made significant strides in enhancing our PLM capabilities, driving efficiency, and encouraging innovation.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Strategic Design: Develop and implement robust PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter, aligning with business objectives, and enhancing operational efficiency
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems, facilitating smooth data flow and process automation
  • User Support: Provide expert mentorship and support to end-users, conducting training sessions and detailing to enhance user proficiency
  • Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, driving continuous innovation within the PLM landscape
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and Digital Core (IT), to understand their needs and deliver tailored PLM solutions
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues related to the PLM system, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a PLM Solution Architect, with a strong focus on Siemens Teamcenter, including in-depth knowledge of PLM concepts, Teamcenter architecture, and integration methodologies
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Active Workspace to enhance user experience and streamline workflows, and expertise in Teamcenter Manufacturing for process planning, resource management, and production scheduling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to solve complex issues, implement effective solutions, and lead requirements within Teamcenter to ensure traceability and alignment with project goals
  • Experience in managing PLM projects, including project planning, task tracking, breakthrough management, and a track record of delivering successful implementations on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
