A Snapshot of Your Day
You are the leader on-site, in terms of deadlines, budget and quality parameters. That means ensuring the customer’s economic success and satisfaction and assuming economic responsibility for the construction site. You represent the site, as a member of Project Management, in all decision-making committees.
How You'll Make an Impact
Customer Management:
- Actively and attentively listen to customer’s opinions and suggestions and cultivate, promote and maintain a professional relationship, involving them in the decision-making process and advise on their decisions.
- Provide support to the customer regarding their targets and act as a ‘sparring partner’ when dealing with the strategic importance of solutions and their practicability
General Administration:
- Establish the requisite site infrastructure and perform inventory control.
- Implement the housing concept in effect at the site (if necessary camp administration) as well as the personnel transport concept.
- Issue procedures regarding site organization.
Site Controlling & Reporting:
- Establish efficient methods for site controlling and reporting, evaluate and document the site status.
- Continually analyze and monitor achievement of set targets with regard to professional, financial, as well as scheduling objectives, while also checking the quality of processes and profitability.
- Recognize non-conformances in due time, identify the causes and eliminates the problems.
- Regularly advise the customer, management and the project team.
- Coordinate an efficient QA Controlling System, being responsible for the safety and worker safety of all employees at the site in line with applicable stipulations and contracts.
Risk Management:
- Together with CSM, assess the impact, risks and opportunities at the construction site and evaluate these from a financial standpoint.
Employee Management:
- Plan the employee resources for the site. Stipulate deployment of employees and effectively use resources and ensure targeted and comprehensive communication within the team. Set targets and delegate defined responsibilities.
- Mentor the team, give constant feedback during the project, hold performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations and procedures governing occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) and promote and lead the Zero Harm Culture.
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in construction of complex industrial projects (preferable for combined cycle power plant projects), as technical supervisor or technical commissioning supervisor
- Experience working in international teams
- Degree in a mechanical, electrical or civil engineering
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Nice-to-have: PM Certification (e.g., IPMA Level B or C)
- Willingness to work in any foreign country, mobility, fitness for service in tropical areas.
- Proficiency in English, nice-to-have Spanish language skills.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
