A Snapshot of Your Day

To transform Siemens Energy into an integrated energy & technology company being the energy transformation leader, Subregion South East Europe is seeking to hire a Business Development Professional, who is an authentic and creative person with the ability to act in a fast and agile way. You'll be an integral part of our team, that will drive our sales activities across our portfolio in an exciting transformation period and beyond. You will be predominantly looking after our valued customers from the energy and heat production sector and looking after the energy transition, and decarbonization of the energy and industry sector in the Czech Republic.

As a Business Development Manager, you are in close contact with the main collaborators in the market and our internal departments. In partnership with them, you will offer and coordinate the implementation of new deliveries and solutions. In the field of new energy technologies, such as electrolyzers or battery storage, you will develop our business opportunities as part of the Business Development team and share experience with our European team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to drive and directly influence the modernization and transformation of the Czech energy industry!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Matching customer demands with the SE portfolio and strategy in your region and identify leads
  • Tapping new growth areas and developing a strong sales funnel and mature opportunities
  • Collaborating across regions in Hub Europe and with defined interfaces in the Business Areas, and aligning with experts in the Hub/ Business Areas to qualify leads for bidding
  • Identifying local improvement elements and support the establishment of suitable business models
  • Establishing close and trustful relations with your customers and design conceptional solutions for them to position Siemens Energy as early as possible
  • Supporting the transparency of our SE Sales Funnel and bring together the leads and opportunities in Salesforce, driving the qualification of leads and turning them into high-potential opportunities
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of an organizational framework and supply lessons learned from previous offers and projects
  • Collaborating with our production plants abroad on the preparation of technical concepts and offers

What You Bring

  • Versatile, creative, agile, fast and pro-active approach getting into the details and work in a hands-on way
  • Mid-term direct experience in the energy sector with a strong sales background, incl. customer engagement on a senior level
  • Proficient in English and Czech
  • Deep understanding of the European Energy landscape and industry, with emphasis on decarbonization topics
  • Basic knowledge in process technology and solution business
  • Ability to showcase your competence as a conceptual problem solver
  • Ability to define tangible concepts and business cases, which try new things and feasibility of the solutions into account
  • Passion for renewables-related energy markets
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally
