A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Legal Counsel in our Office of the General Counsel at Siemens Energy, you will engage in a diverse range of legal matters and responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with our Corporate Law and Compliance departments, as well as the Executive and Supervisory Board Office, to prepare for key meetings involving the Group General Counsel (GGC), the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, and its individual members.

Your role will involve drafting documents and presentations that address a variety of legal issues related to central projects within our SE Group. This will require effective collaboration with both internal and external partners to ensure seamless project management throughout the process.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in the external representation of the GGC by developing and coordinating legal content, as well as providing guidance on its selection and presentation. Your expertise will also be crucial in organizing significant internal Legal and Compliance events, such as townhalls and conferences. You will assist in curating topics and delivering presentations, ensuring clear and effective communication.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Collaborate with corporate law, compliance teams, and Executive/Supervisory Board Offices to prepare legal topics and meetings for the GGC
  • Create concise documents and presentations for effective stakeholder communication within the SE Group
  • Partner with the global Siemens Energy Legal & Compliance community to enhance our global function management
  • Promote a culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, inclusivity, and diversity

What You Bring
  • Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent degree
  • Proven experience in corporate law, compliance, or as in-house legal counsel for an international company
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
  • Excellent project management skills and a collaborative approach
  • A willingness to learn and an openness to exploring new areas of law
  • Proficient in both verbal and written German and English
