A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Mechanical Fitter at Siemens Energy, you'll play a crucial role in assembling, Stripping, reusing and maintaining small gas turbine components. Your day will involve hands-on mechanical work, using tools and equipment to ensure that every part meets our exacting standards. Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll add to projects that power communities and industries worldwide.
How you make an impact
- Precision and Excellence: Use a variety of tools to carry out a range of fitting operations within the Casing cell with meticulous care.
- Supportive Environment: Champion open communication with other departments, creating an encouraging atmosphere.
- Culture of Innovation: Maintain a culture of excellence and tidiness through 5S practices, while constantly seeking process improvement ideas.
- Quality and Safety: Uphold a strong commitment to quality and safety, ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
What you bring
- Experience in a related mechanical role, preferably exposed to mechanical fitting related to rotating equipment.
- Completed full level 3 apprenticeship, or NVQ level 3 or technical certificate in a relevant engineering field.
- A keen eye for detail ensures every component is crafted with precision in line with company standards.
- Strong safety and quality driven approach and a team-player personality.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
