A Snapshot of Your Day
The Field Service Administration & Technical Support person will provide essential administrative and basic technical support to the Field Service team in the UK & Ireland.
How You’ll Make an Impact
In this role, you will support the daily management of the field service operations calendar, arrange field service training, manage training records, oversee the SharePoint, and handle the ordering of IT hardware. You will coordinate field service site assessments and champion continuous improvement within the team. You will also embody Siemens Energy values by being Caring, Agile, Supportive, and Accountable.
What You Bring
A relevant academic degree or a professional qualification in administration.
Proven experience in an administrative role.
Experience in a technical environment is a plus.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Familiarity with IT applications such as SAP is desirable.
Knowledge of physical security technology, including access control systems and CCTV.
Strong internal customer orientation.
Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK (<10%).
Excellent interpersonal skills, ideally in a culturally diverse environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads effectively with minimal direction, demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple and diverse tasks.
Creativity in your role with proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
Main Duties Include
Managing Engineering calendars (organizing and scheduling meetings), including collating meeting minutes and actions.
Monthly tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators for Engineering into the Service Operations function.
Being responsible for the control of documents built and distributed via Engineering to internal and external partners.
Supporting training activities:
Booking training sessions.
Managing internal training systems.
Interfacing between training systems (SELP/SkillStation).
Running and updating the Training Matrix, including Entry Level Talent.
Acting as the Engineering SharePoint administrator and supporting Power Automate.
Handling onboarding activities for new joiners
Supporting departmental improvements.
