In close liaison with the project manager, should managing \ follow \ supervising the works on site.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You will have a hierarchical dependency of the project manager responsible for the project.
Basically, among other responsibilities, the focus is:
- Ensure that installation work is carried out as defined in the project.
- Support the Project Manager in delivering the programme of works, quality and technical compliance, personnel, and local relations.
- Develop an effective, close working relationship with the appointed contractor(s) and the internal stakeholders such as operations team to ensure that the works are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
- Ensuring and documenting that the installation proceeds according to pre-defined steps.
- If, certain tasks, when not defined, but necessary for the development of the works, it is your duty to speed up their definition for the continuity of the works.
What You Bring
- Knowledge and experience in AIS/GIS assembly and switchgear installation,
- transformer, reactors, cables installation, commissioning, earthing, building supplies, and busbar installation and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of Quality and HSE concepts and tools.
- Customer focused and motivated to work across different cultures in an international environment.
- Good written and verbal communication and leadership skills for co-working with colleagues and stakeholders with various professional backgrounds.
- Having IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Language competencies in Portuguese and English.
- Flexible and willing to travel.
