Imagine stepping into a role where your problem-solving skills make a real difference for our Large Gas Turbine, Large Steam Turbine, and Large Generator customers. As part of a global team of technical clarification engineers, you’ll provide essential support for spare parts queries, ensuring our service customers receive the best solutions. Collaborate closely with service engineering and project management to meet the growing demand for crucial parts from worldwide suppliers, keeping our fleet running smoothly. With your technical expertise and the support of Siemens Energy databases, you’ll drive data quality improvements and transition from reactive to proactive clarification.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support the parts quoting, ordering, and logistics process by providing technical information on parts and material master to enhance our Service Business.
• Proactively clarify spare parts lists to ensure faster response times for customers.
• Communicate actively with colleagues and Siemens Energy teams to resolve complex queries and expedite processes when necessary.
• Contribute to and drive internal improvement processes.
• Ensure sustainable data quality by capturing knowledge and updating systems of record.
• Support cultural change and transform the organization towards new ways of working and diverse teams.

What You Bring

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with experience as a Field Service or Commissioning Engineer.
• Expertise in managing technical data, including material masters, bill of materials, unit configuration structures, and drawings.
• Experience with power plants and spare parts; advanced English proficiency, German is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive skills; excellent team player in multicultural environments.
• Organized, independent worker who asks questions and shares ideas; advanced MS Office365 and SAP skills.
• Interest in contributing to the development of a new Data & Clarification Management Hub in Portugal.

About the Team

The Organization Clarification & Logistics is dedicated to technical and auxiliary parts clarification, as well as catalog and configuration management, ensuring data quality and completeness of spare parts information. Our teams in Germany (Berlin/Muelheim) and Portugal (Lisbon) provide 1st level clarification of core turbine parts, supporting spare parts demands across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Project, and Order Management, we strive to ship parts at the right quality, quantity, and time.
