A Snapshot of Your Day

Leading a team of accounting experts, you will supervise daily fixed assets transactions and month-end-closing activities and ensure they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP or any other relevant regulations and guidelines. Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders such as regional accounting hubs, local business teams and managing complex operational issues, while sharing best practices across teams. Serve as the go-to contact for accounting issues, guiding the Fixed Assets team in fixed assets or IFRS 16 challenges and spearheading finance transformation projects for enhanced efficiency.

• Get ready to play a key role working with S/4 Hana, in terms of Fixed Assets and IFRS16, where you'll oversee month-end activities in Smartclose (Blackline), perform account reconciliations with Blackline and keep our Fixed Assets accounts and IFRS 16 in top shape!
• Take the lead on exciting continuous improvement initiatives and become more self-directed and build process ownership, champion finance transformation projects, and help standardize and automate processes across the organization,
• Oversee internal controls and play a crucial part in internal and external audits by delivering timely information and resolving auditor queries.
• Drive the implementation and documentation of new processes and procedures, making a real difference as we move forward

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Fixed Assets Accounting and Finance Operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Team Leadership
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and IFRS is mandatory
• Very good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
• Very good understanding of business processes in SAP
• Knowledge of using projects and WBS processes in SAP ECC / S4Hana
• Experience in transitions and transformation projects
• Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training/workshops, if needed
• You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
