Siemens Energy has a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Gas Services team
based at our North Ryde office. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager. As the successful
applicant, you will be involved in project and operational management, project execution and services for Control and Digitalisation systems to installed base customers in the power generation market.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a customer-focused
mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to drive service excellence and
business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in service
management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead, support and develop business and to achieve service business targets.
  • Driving continuous improvement of service project processes, templates, best practices
  • Project Management of service projects, including onsite service and maintenance works.
  • Accountable for the delivery of the assigned tasks and deliverables of the project on schedule, within budget and at the required level of quality and EHS.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, aiming for a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSS Promoter Score) of a minimum of 9.
  • Demonstrates leadership interculturally, encourage a positive team environment by recognizing achievements, celebrating milestones, and maintaining morale during challenges.
  • Oversee field service operations, ensuring that team goals are met and that service delivery is efficient and effective.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of service quality and operational efficiency, directly contributing to the company's profitability.
  • Develop and mentor the service team, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Train field service engineers on upselling key products and emphasize the importance of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Be available 24/7 to customers, visiting sites to develop and nurture strong technical relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, contracts, and customer interactions, providing regular reports to management on service performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in technical design and development for service offerings as needed.
  • Secure sales with customers and collaborate with relevant internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Ensure that all service operations comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Consistently demonstrate and uphold the core values, mission, and culture of Siemens Energy as well as those of the business unit (Controls & Digitalization) by proactively engaging in and championing related initiatives and assignments.

What You Bring

  • A sound engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, I&C or equivalent
  • 7 -10 years’ experience in I&C sales and management experience may be advantageous.
  • Project experience with plant realization engineering and services
  • Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Good in soft skills especially communication skills in English
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in diverse teams, managing multiple projects, and maintaining a strategic focus.
  • Knowledge of Siemens DCS SPPA-T3000 will be a plus.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
