A Snapshot of Your Day

The Proposal Integrator is responsible for managing the proposal process from opportunity identification to execution handoff of all bundled solution / complex field operations proposals with specific responsibility for Modernization and Upgrades sales support. These opportunities include Revamps, Upgrades, Turnarounds, Installation & Commissioning and LTPs. The role requires critical thinking skills, a strong financial foundation, ability to manage multiple projects and solid written and verbal communication skills to create cohesive solutions based on customer drivers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define and drive implementation of marketing strategy for each project solution
  • Develop cost estimates, financial analysis, risk analysis and proposal documents
  • Coordinate/participate in bid/no bid, kickoff, strategy review/pre-approval, LoA and handoff meetings with stakeholders in Product Line, Region, Business Unit and Segment Management as applicable
  • Proposal management –
    • Working with a broad internal stakeholder network, compile cost and value information and use Siemens tools and internal approval processes to present and deliver value- and solutions-based quotes to customers, responding to customer requests for clarification and status
    • Receive and evaluate requests for proposal/quotation and work scopes for detailed proposal development and project requirements
  • Product familiarity –Understand the internal costs and the external value proposition of our products, including alignment with product line developers and the RNA Operations organization to ensure that the latest processes are followed
  • Relationship management – Gather, maintain, and respond to feedback and dialog with internal customers and external partners
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support the proposal and approval processes and to facilitate handover to execution

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or Business
  • 4 or more years’ work experience in one or several of the following areas: Field Services, Engineering, Equipment Packaging, Turnkey Projects in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical or Power Generation industries
  • Possess experience/knowledge with rotating equipment including Reciprocating and Centrifugal Compressors, Industrial Steam and/or Gas Turbines, Generators, Turnkey Projects, Power Generation and Oil & Gas OEMs, and/or related equipment
  • Strong capability to work as a part of a global team and to build up global networks
  • The individual must be a self-starter, highly motivated and possess excellent leadership skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred 
  • Must possess excellent people skills and patience
  • Must be proactive in all project aspects and have demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Strong quality & organization orientation
  • Demonstrate initiative and is results-oriented
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-confidence, act as a team player and display a can-do attitude
  • Adaptable to changing project needs and fluid workload in a collaborative environment
