Project Controller plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing project performance metrics in Japan. The Project Cost Controller also addresses ad-hoc project requests and works to resolve any discrepancies in reported costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgetary goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Responsible for the completion of project performance controlling related topics in Japan ;
• Support within the yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting process for Japan project planning with Commercial Project Manager team;
• Drive monthly Project closing process including JV booking, Accrual, Revenue and GM analysis based on Order Complete Cost report ;
• Support Project billing and Sales Order creation, project closure and other system supporting tasks ;
• Support Regional Headquater charge and project hours booking ;
• Collaborate with Commercial Project Manager, Project Manager team in Japan , local management and other Regions.
• Carry out ad-hoc operational and financial analyses to help drive growth;

What You Bring

• Master or Degree in Business Administration (Controlling, Accounting, Finance).
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in the financial analysis area (accounting, controlling, etc.) with good knowledge of SAP system ie SAP FI and SAP OCC.
• Experience of managing project business, preferably from the Energy Sector (power plants) or Industry Sector.
• Strong analytical skills required, systematic working style with fluent in oral and written English.
• Good ownership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills -strong collaboration approach in a diversified team and cross-cultural environment
• Advanced Microsoft office skills, esp. Excel, Power Point;

APAC Onshore Project controlling team is a regional team covers APAC 10 countries project and service project controlling business. Team with global diversity and perform regional centralized controlling and reporting roles.
