A Snapshot of Your Day
The Parts Manager is responsible for managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact to help resolve issues with orders. The Parts Manager will embody the fact that they are the “Voice of the customer” within the company. This is a hybrid role working 1st shift, Mon.- Friday (7:00AM - 4:00PM).
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Receiving orders from internal as well as external customers, monitoring status, expediting as required, proactively communicating with the customer if there are changes or delays, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and requires independent analysis, decision-making skills, using prior experience and knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems.
- Required to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues, both as an individual contributor and a facilitator of multi-disciplined teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in problem solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues.
- Will act as a highly functioning team member to assist all within the department.
What You Bring
- 2 Year degree from an accredited institution or 4 years’ experience in a sales or customer service-based business
- Ability to work from home part of the time as well as travel to the local office part of the time. Travel 10% of the time as needed
- Experience with a MRP system - SAP System experience preferred; Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Strong work ethic with minimal oversight, accountable for results in an assigned region.
- Structured and methodical approach to work, must be able to manage multiple moving dates/targets.
- Experience in the Energy/Turbine Industry beneficial but not required
