Master Thesis – Leveraging AI for Requirements Management in Gas Turbine Projects
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you'll dive into the fascinating intersection of AI and industrial engineering. The master thesis will focus on using AI to analyze and manage requirements such as customer specifications, contracts, local regulations, laws, and international standards. The outcome of your research will be used as basis for an AI solution that can identify gaps between requirements and the product standard and ensure the right information reaches the right people within the organization, spanning multiple functions such as Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, etc. This will ensure that all project requirements for the complex product, gas turbines, are met efficiently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct thorough analyses of various AI solutions applicable to requirements management.
- Develop, test and compare proof-of-concept models
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and to ensure your solution meets practical needs
- Document and present your findingsin a well-structured thesis document, including practical recommendations
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Good understanding of NLP, GPT models, and Embedding models.
- You have good understanding of prompt engineering and have experience in creating and optimizing AI prompts
- You have experience programming in Python as well as experience with one or more machine learning platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in fine-tuning AI models for specific applications is considered an advantage.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
