A Snapshot of Your Day
As the LATAM Quality Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for driving the quality culture and performance across all projects and operations within the Latin America region. You will implement a robust, project-specific Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with global standards and local regulations, ensuring our products and services in the energy sector consistently meet the highest levels of excellence. Your primary focus will be on the strategic implementation and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System. This includes overseeing the entire quality lifecycle, from supporting global audit programs and project-specific Q-gates to managing non-conformances and driving corrective actions. You will be instrumental in analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and championing lessons learned to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks across the organization. The ideal candidate is a seasoned quality professional with a strong engineering background and extensive experience in large-scale industrial or power generation projects. You possess deep knowledge of QMS frameworks like ISO 9001, a proven ability to lead and develop teams, and exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Your leadership will be crucial in training employees and fostering a proactive, quality-first mindset throughout the LATAM region.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System (QMS) for the LATAM region.
- Ensure the QMS aligns with the global Integrated Management System, quality strategy, and local regulations.
- Implement and monitor the effectiveness of global quality programs and initiatives.
- Define and manage the quality organization's structure and resources to achieve business goals.
- To be the guardian of customer satisfaction through NPS processes and also the management of non‑conformity costs
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, combined with 8+ years of experience in quality or project management within industrial or power generation sectors.
- Travel – 25% of the time to wind farms.
- Advanced English (Spanish will be considered a plus).
- Knowledge of the energy sector

The EQS area at Wind Power Business area plays a highly significant role within the organization. It is responsible for ensuring consistent Quality and EHS standards across our projects and operations, supporting the structured and effective implementation of new processes. In addition, it serves as the central pillar for governance and process assurance at the site level, ensuring compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement. At the same time, the team is expected to drive innovation by bringing forward new ideas and practical solutions to address operational challenges and enhance site performance.
