A Snapshot of Your Day

Field Service International (FSI) supports and coordinates international Siemens Energy entities serving the global 50 Hz, 60 Hz and Legacy Westinghouse markets as well as Nuclear. The International District Service Assistant (ADSM) is responsible to assist the International DSM and team in the proactive management of the cradle to grave activities of all on-shore and off-shore entities and their vendors required to support global service projects of the local end customer.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Assist the collaboration of the teams on-site including region corporate entities, Long Term Programs (LTP), Specialty Services, Tooling, Parts, SERE and logistics to provide “best-in-class” customer service.
  • Work with the local Siemens entities, logistics groups, internal and external export and customs control groups and tooling depots to properly specify, ship, and return tooling needed to perform needed services.
  • Develop and maintain the relationship in RME, RAP, RLA and REU and aid those entities in maintaining a positive relationship with the local customers.
  • Work with FSI Central Operations, and Finance to ensure the Purchase Order, Invoice, Cost Transfer-ICC process are performed in accordance with approved SLAs for each service order. Coordinate the regular activities of the FSI district field engineers and support staff per the DSM’s and FSI Operations direction.
  • Assists the DSM in completing the planning and estimating to develop proposals and implementation plans and performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.

What You Bring

  • BS/BA preferred and 5+ years of industry experience. Bilingual preferred. Significant experience as a Field Service Engineer or Project Manager on Turbine Generator projects is a must. District Operations experience preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance of Siemens advance frame gas turbines, generators, and associated equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software. Experience working in SAP PD2, SFDC Lightning.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
