Head of Project Sourcing Region Europe North West (EAD)

 

A snapshot of your day:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Project Sourcing Region Europe  North West developing, implementing and maintaining a market-leading performance position at competitive costs - for Project Procurement - derived from the  SE TI EAD business requirements – in order to generate an optimized contribution to business performance as well as ensuring compliance in procurement.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Organizational, procedural and process responsibility for the project procurement organization in the region. Implementation of efficient forms of organization and procedures in the procurement organization of the region to continuously detect areas for rationalization and increase profitability.
  • Responsible for managing and developing employees, ensuring knowledge transfer, and planning development and retention. Build strong teams, distribute talent, cultivate open-mindedness, seek feedback, and initiate change by challenging the status quo and advocating for our values.
  • Ensure implementation and utilization of Siemens Energy Procurement standards, policies, guidelines, procedures and tools, to enable cooperation with Global EAD procurement Network. Business Area network and other procurement organizations of Siemens Energy.
    Shape the future by developing and implementing programs and strategies to achieve intended outcomes and ensure long-term business success.
  • Advocate for security and integrity by applying the highest standards and ensuring compliance. Represent Siemens Energy's interests, acting as a unified entity, and manage collaborators including internal customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Ensure implementation and development of Siemens Energy initiatives (Sustainability, Values, guidelines, risk management, internal controls); Deploy Siemens Energy regulations and support IMB synergy realization. Coordinate Business Area/IMB/region programs, initiate improvement activities to achieve continuous development.
  • Deploy Procurement Strategy and contribute to Region/Country strategy development (e.g. early involvement, E-Auction, supplier management, GVS initiatives); Ensure alignment of procurement strategies and if applicable warehousing strategies towards the superior strategy levels and other relevant levels (PRM, Sales).
  • Facilitate of top-down target information (BSC) with /IMB/Region/Country in accordance with Global EAD Procurement goals, implement and continuously execute performance controlling to make results transparent and control purchasing activities on a result orientated basis. Ensure reporting and controlling of defined information and figures to create transparency in Procurement activities.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Experience in leadership roles in an international, multicultural environment, preferrable within Industrial / engineer-to-order environment.
  • Pro-active attitude and drive to create a positive impact for Siemens Energy as well as excellent organizational, structured, time management skills with adaptability to unplanned situations.
  • Detail know-how of Supplier Management process (e.g. Supplier qualification, evaluation and development, early involvement of procurement
  • Proficient in English, with additional language skills (e.g. Norwegian) considered a plus.
  • High willingness to travel globally/ International travel required (20-40%)
